The music department and orchestra put on a concert to showcase the musical talent in St. Louis SPS.

Boxing in 6th class

The 6th class pupils have been learning all about boxing and there was a showcase of some of the skills in the National Boxing arena. The other 6th class pupils went to spectate and some pupils were boxing in it.

Well done everyone.

Intercultural Sports Day

Today, we got to play of different sports such as dodgeball, penalties, bean bag toss races, tug-o-war and mini games of tennis and soccer. Thank you to An Garda Síochána for organising such a fantastic day!

Shoe Box appeal in Room 17

Look at all the Shoe boxes we filled! We filled our boxes with clothes, items for school, some toys and some of us wrote letters to the children who will get our boxes.

Bronze boxing programme in 6th class

Michael and Martin Carruth have been teaching us all about boxing over the last few weeks. We’ve learned about sparring and defending and we’ve enjoyed lots of fitness based activities too!

Science Fair – Showcase of Science experiments

For science week this year, we researched a science experiment that we found interesting. All the 5th and 6th classes then came to see our experiments at our very own Science Fair in Room 17!
