For Halloween we all wrote spooky stories. They were all very scary and Ms. Hanrahan came in to look at all the stories and it was very fun for us and the teachers.

On goal Jersey Day we raised 65 euro from room 17. And we hope we will raise more money next year. 😊 On Jersey Day we wore Jerseys. The most popular jersey was the Ireland jersey.

Tuguldur and Misheel played a game called shagai. Shagai is a Mongolian game where you have to flick a bone to a bone that looks the same and it has to not touch any other bone except for the bone you’re aiming for. There are four different animals on the bone. Its sheep, camel, horse and goat.

The pupils were very lucky today as Emma (Kate’s mother) came in to the class to tell us lots of science facts.
We learned all about the eye and how it works.
We also learned about dry ice and carbon dioxide.
We learned so so many new things from a real scientist. It was fascinating!
Thanks so much to Emma for coming in to Room 15!
In Room 15, our Artist of the Month for November is Jackson Pollock.
This artist is known for his expressionism painting and we took inspiration from his work.
They look great!
Room 15 were learning all about 2-D shapes.
We learned about tessellation – that means shapes closely fitted together, in a repeated pattern without gaps or overlapping.
We then investigated whether different 2-D shapes tessellated.
Room 15 went to 3 different science fairs this week to celebrate science week.
Ms. O’ Shea’s class (Room 17), Ms. Doherty’s class (Room 9) and Mr. Coghlan’s class (Room 5) all hosted wonderful, interesting science fairs in their rooms.
We were asked some tricky scientific questions and were shown some amazing experiments on our visits.
Thanks so much for all the hard work from all the classes and teachers.
Science is so fun!
To celebrate science week Room 11 had a great time enjoying all the wonderful science experiments in room 14.
We got to learn how to make slime, playdough, periscopes and a mini volcano!
Thanks to room 14!
The boys and girls in 4th class are very lucky as some past pupils of St. Louis came back to our school from De Le Salle secondary school and were teaching them soccer skills.
It was so much fun and we are looking forward to next week already!
