Room 12 were busy making comics! We worked in pairs, using props from our classroom, to create comics on the iPads.

Room 4 – exploring self identity

We explored self identity in September while we settled into the new school year!

Room 1 visit the Little Museum of Dublin

The boys and girls in Room 1 were so lucky to be able to visit the Little Museum of Dublin on St. Stephen’s Green today.

Our tour guide Mark was so fun and told us so many interesting facts from the past about our capital city, Dublin.

We saw lots of artifacts that have been donated to the museum by Dublin people.

We got to visit the U2 room and learn all about this famous Dublin band

We then got to play in St. Stephens Green playground and we even supported the farmers in their protest at St. Stephen’s Green.

It was a super day!

Christmas has officially starting in Room 1

Ms. Hanrahan was the guest of honour at the ‘Turning on of the Christmas lights ceremony’ in Room 1.

Peer tutoring and Spellings For Me

Room 1 and Room 10 got together to learn from each other when doing their Spellings For Me learning words.

It was great to help each other!

Budding writers in Room 1

Sadhbh, Eric and Caleb in Room 1 have been busy writing and illustrating their own book.

Today they started reading it for their classmates.

Christmas Village in Room 17

Room 17 are working very creatively to construct a Christmas Village using cardboard boxes and other materials from the recycling bin! Stay tuned!

Working on our presenting skills in Room 1

We were learning about different counties in Ireland and each made a PowerPoint presentation about a different county.

We then used our oral language skills to present our PowerPoints to our classmates.

Well done everyone – we learned lots of new facts about Ireland and its counties!

Comic Life in Room 10

Room 10 were having a great time using Comic Life on the iPads!
