We were lucky enough to be treated to a concert from the Garda Band this week. They were coming to help us celebrate the 80th birthday of St. Louis.
we learned all about the different instruments used in the band and listened to songs.
We sang along and some pupils even became conductors.
It was great fun!
All of the pupils and teachers took part in the Annual Christmas Dash. We all dressed up in our festive clothes and worked on our fitness before our Christmas holidays!
The generous boys and girls in St.Louis were collecting food this Christmas to donate to the St. Vincent De Paul food appeal.
Room 1 were collecting the boxes and helping with counting and sorting all of the items.
Well done everyone – we collected over 2100 items for families in need this Christmas!
All of the pupils and teachers went to Halla Cullen this week to meet Santa and show off our crowns. We gave in our coins that we had collected.
Thanks to the Parents Association for running such a great event for our school.
We all went to a cool science show this week. We learned all about different scientific experiments and how different chemicals work!

Over 350 shoeboxes collected for the Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal, wow!! A massive well done to everyone in St Louis for your kindness and generosity! That’s over 350 children who will get a Christmas present this year. Your kind gift will bring joy and excitement to these families this Christmas.
Children in St. Louis have been working hard to collect shoeboxes for the Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal. These shoeboxes will bring a smile to lots of children around the world.

Here in St. Louis we are using the new online spelling programme called ‘Spellings For Me’.
It is an individualised spelling programme for each pupil based on the pupil’s ability.
We are already learning so much!
All of the Active Committee came together today to raise the Active Flag.
We worked very hard motivating students and teachers to be more active all year. The whole school came together for an assembly to re-cap on all our active school achievements this year.
It is a great achievement for our school and well done to the Active Committee for all their hard work!
All of the pupils and teachers went to the yard today and took part in our Active Dance. We celebrated being awarded our second Active Flag!
