Room 15 – High jump

The boys and girls in Room 15 were learning and practicing their high jump skills.

They worked very hard and are able to jump very high.

Well done everyone!

St. Vincent De Paul

The boys and girls in Room 15 went to the St. Vincent De Paul charity shop in Rathmines to drop off the last of the food donations from St. Louis.

We have helped so many families this year. Well done to everyone who donated.

Merry Christmas from Room 15

The boys and girls are getting ready for Christmas by making Christmas stockings. They used their sewing skills and design skills.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Being thankful in Room 15

Today they celebrate Thanksgiving in America so in Room 15 we decided to think about all the things in our lives that we are thankful for.

We talked about it as a group and then made these lovely posters that we will hang up at home to help us remember just how lucky and grateful we all are.

A special visitor in Room 15

The pupils were very lucky today as Emma (Kate’s mother) came in to the class to tell us lots of science facts.

We learned all about the eye and how it works.

We also learned about dry ice and carbon dioxide.

We learned so so many new things from a real scientist. It was fascinating!

Thanks so much to Emma for coming in to Room 15!

Learning about Jackson Pollock

In Room 15, our Artist of the Month for November is Jackson Pollock.

This artist is known for his expressionism painting and we took inspiration from his work.

They look great!
