Drama: Getting Into Role

DRAMA: Getting into Role
We had such fun dramatising the poem ‘The House with Nobody in it’. We all had the opportunity to take different roles and practice pupil in role. Ms. O Hara also went into role! It was lovely to move around the room and work together in pairs and in groups exploring poetry!

National Tree Week

TREE DAY TRIP
On National Tree Week, we went on a field trip to Harolds Cross Park. It was such a lovely sunny day! Aoife Murphy’s Mum Brigid and Aoife Mc Cormack’s Mum Sharon were so kind and generous with their time to accompany us and to supervise our safety on the roads and in the park. They also helped us with our activities. We took rubbings from the tree trunks and made drawings of the trees. We brought our information packs with us and identified so many beautiful trees. We did some experiments also investigating the age of trees, fauna and flora that live in our trees using an umbrella. We had lots of information to bring back to our classroom for our projects and our art classes.

Room 3 – Junior Achievement

Room 3 have just finished their Junior Achievement programme ‘Our Nation’.

They learned a lot about business from Ciara.

In the final class they played a board game and were presented with certificates.
