Room 15 were invited to visit Rathmines Library to see a presentation on the 1916 Rising and people that were involved. We learned lots of interesting facts from our guide Eoin and we learned that there were many connections to Rathmines during the Rising in Ireland.
We learned about different people that were involved with the Rising and what part they played. We even got to hear from some of their ancestors on a video interview.
It was a really great trip and we were so lucky to be invited.

It was so much fun on Tuesday! And we got to miss maths! 😉 We learned alot of new things about the Easter Rising and I hope we get to do that again
