Platform concert 2019 – night 2

We were all treated again to some wonderful performances on Thursday.

It was brilliant to see so much talent in the school and we even got to hear from the No. 1 school orchestra in the country!

PAWS certificates presented in the school

Room 11 were delighted to be presented with certificates to say that they had completed the PAWS Programme. Water safety is so important-especially as they undertake swimming lessons with St. Louis for the first time! Well done room 11 for all your hard work.

 

Gaeilge lessons in Room 15

Room 15 along with Ms. Fleming went to the yard to learn about clothes.

They played the game through Gaeilge and used all their new words to enjoy the activity!

Story time in Room 11+12

Room 11 + room 12 were lucky enough to have Mr Bermingham tell us a story about Jack and his three wishes. He was very funny and we enjoyed it so much! Thanks Mr Bermingham!

Platform Concert 2019 – night 1

We were all treated to some amazing performances at the Platform Concert on Wednesday.

We saw dancers, singers, musicians and our senior school choir.

A superb night-well done to all!

Orienteering in Room 10

In Room 10 we had a fantastic morning orienteering. We worked on our map reading and teamwork skills.

B.R.A.G visit Room 15

The music group B.R.A.G (Beth, Ruby, Amelia and Georgie) visited Room 15 and treated us to a fantastic musical performance.

Learning about Vikings with Room 10

Room 10 learning about Vikings in Rathmines library.

 

6th class learning about women who changed the world

6th classes visitors an exhibition in the library on the theme of ‘Irish woman who changed the World’.
It was an excellent trip and we learned a lot about Irish woman and the amazing stories of their lives.
It was an awe inspiring exhibition and we came away with a number of new heroes.
