Room 13 had a wonderful SnG! The boys and girls spent time preparing treasure hunts for all the 2nd classes in St Louis. These hunts brought the children all around the school and they all even found a duais (prize) of milseán at the end!

A visitor to the Green School Committee
Seó Faisean le seomra a haon
The boys and girls in Room 1 were celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge this year with a fun Seó Faisean.
All of the other pupils in the school came out to the yard and listened to all the new gaeilge words and watched Room 1 strut their stuff!
Well done!
Paired reading between Room 17 and Room 12
In Room 17 we read with expression, an awareness of punctuation and we do our best to get into role as characters in a story when reading dialogue.
We modeled our reading skills to Room 12 and listened to them read aloud. We were able to help them with things such as pausing at a comma or a full stop or sounding excited when reading before an exclamation mark!
Everyone really enjoyed this activity and we all learned from it 😊
Celebrating World Book Day in Room 1
The boys and girls in Room 1 dressed up as their favourite character in a book this week.
They then described the character and the plot of the book. Some pupils just wanted to describe their favourite book too.
It was a super day!
Room 12 – Having a blast at the Science Blast
Room 12 attended Science Blast in the RDS with their project ‘How to create an erupting volcano’. It was an insightful and fun day out!
