We took part in the Tall Tower Challenge. We had to try and make the tallest tower as a team using spaghetti and marshmallows. Pod 3 won with the tallest tower which was 49cm!

Experimenting in Room 1
Room 1 experimented to see what would happen if you mixed a fat loving substance (milk) with a water loving substance (washing up liquid). We used food colouring to make the results more obvious. It was very cool!
Learning about food in Room 1
Room 1 have been learning about food with Ms Butler. We made pizzas with our favourite toppings in art, learned how food in the past in history and even made our own butter! We also made musical instruments using pasta and rice.
Engineering in Room 5 for Science Week
Pupils in Room 5 were designing and constructing their towers using spaghetti and marshmallows. Well done to the tallest tower builders. It measured over 70cm high!
(Until everyone saw Ms. Neill’s tower – measuring a whopping 81cm high!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
