4th class in Room 13 learned all about Pablo Picasso this week. We learned about his life and his progression as an artist, along with exploring different styles of art, including Cubism! Here are some of the spooky Picasso inspired Halloween Monsters we created in Art today!

Mental maths in Room 10
Room 10 practicing their mental subtraction skills using playing cards!
Room 1 visit the past
Room 1 have been learning what farms were like in the past. People had to plough fields by hand, milk cows twice a day by hand and even make their own butter. We decided to make our own butter and see what it was like. Most of us agreed it was very tasty but some of us like the butter from the shops better. Either way- it’s much easier to buy in the shops than to make it every day!!
P.E with Room 6
Room 6 have been really enjoying their PE time down in the Army Barracks. This week we did relays and hoola hoop games. We were also working on our balancing skills. It was great fun!

Uncovering the Celts in Room 13
Room 13 have been learning all about the Celts. Last week, we unravelled timelines and went all the way back to 800 BC, before the Celts came to Ireland.
Room 13 also decorated their initials with Celtic knots.

Learning about energy in Room 3
Learning all about energy and how we can generate some energy ourselves with Pedalcents. Students in Room 3 generated enough energy to power a PS5 for a few seconds, charge a phone as well as start an electric shower!
