Room 13 are having a wicket time at cricket! Thanks to Leinster Cricket Club for the wonderful lessons!
We went to Leinster Cricket Club today to start some cricket lessons.
It was such great fun and our coaches were great!
Richard in Room 13 recently competed in a Taekwondo competition and taught us some of his patterns, a sequence of moves, which he had learned especially for his competition. Read Richard’s recount writing below!
On the 13th of March, I went to a competition. It was for the sport TKD-Taekwondo. When I went to my pattern group, which had 14 people in it, I ended up winning a silver medal. In my sparring group, which had 19 people in it, I took home a bronze medal which is 3rd place! I got pizza after the competition which made the day great!
The boys and girls in Room 5 went to Aviva Stadium to watch the Irish Rugby team training. It was a great day and we got to see lots of skills. We saw the Under 20’s team training too.
We had lots of fun!
Room 2 had a great time at the Halloween Monster Mosh. Lots of spooky dancing!
In St. Louis we will be trying to earn another active flag for our school this year. Our Active committee will be motivating us to be more active and helping out with lots of fun active tasks throughout the year!
Room 5 were using their map skills to find their orienteering clues around both yards!
Room 6 have really enjoyed learning about Australia this month. During P.E this week we had great fun creating some Aboriginal dances!
Room 6 have been really enjoying their PE time down in the Army Barracks. This week we did relays and hoola hoop games. We were also working on our balancing skills. It was great fun!
