In English we have been learning how to write procedures. We wrote a recipe for hot chocolate and decided to try it out! We added a selection of toppings- white chocolate, milk chocolate, marshmallows, cream and sprinkles. What’s your favourite? Have a look at Emma and Taya’s copies if you’d like to try out this delicious recipe!
Room 8 had great fun building spaghetti and marshmallow towers for Science Week. Well done to our winners Seán, Riley and Julia for building the tallest tower!
Happy Halloween from lots of pupils in St. Louis SPS!
In Room 8 we had great fun celebrating Maths Week. We had a go at solving riddles, estimating the amount of marbles in a jar, taking part in a virtual maths trail and playing lots of maths games. Here we are inventing our own maths board games. We’re looking forward to playing them next week!
Today we enjoyed working on our dictation sentences and playing some games on Spellings for Me in the computer room!
We had a great start to Friendship Fortnight in Room 8 this week! We’ve enjoyed playing outside in the sun and doing random acts of kindness for each other. We’ve just started our friendship posters so stay tuned for more updates next week!
n Room 8 we love relaxing with a good book! We made our own personalised monster bookmarks using origami paper.
